Сhuli and Firuza always have been favourite places of rest for many generations of Ashkhabad citizens, but today they acquire the status of the international tourism centers, and that is not accidentally. Turkmenistan possesses the magnificent potential of natural-climatic zones, which could become the base for the creation, development and perfection of the complex tourist bases of multifunctional system service for those who come to have a rest. Annaniyaz-aga International Center of Mountain Tourism and Rest was created in May, 1996 and actually since the first days of its work has acquired the most wide popularity among the citizens and guests of the capital. Center is located in the picturesque place Chuli, 40 km from Ashkhabad.

By the nature itself Chuli is intended to be a place for rest. Here you can find everything what will satisfy the most refined taste. Clear-voiced, cold and fast mountain small river Chulinka will present the freshness and gentle, non-stopped noise and splash of its stream. The famous oak-grove with secular giants will widely open its hidden doors for walks and picnics. Foot and horse trips into the mountains will present the feeling of freedom, flush of scope opened to all the winds. The amazing harmony of contrasting combinations of red-brown foothills, green plane-trees and maples, dim velvet of the low-drifted grasses with the bright blue sky and indigo-coloured shadows, which throw the neighbouring tops of mountains into the depth of the gorge will forever remain in your memory. Here you can watch furtively how a jerboa, building his new underground dwelling, tries to get rid of a hindering root of a tenacious burr, also a Central-Asian hedgehog with burdock-like ears and see the abundance of the bird world of Turkmenistan and many other.

The employees of the Center will grant all these remarkable pleasures to the guests, which is capable to serve about 400-500 clients per month. There are 14 comfortable rooms equipped with modern appliances (air conditioner, heater, satellite television, international call) in the building of the Center. The Center offers variety of services, including — chambermaid, laundry, parking, taxi order. You will feel pleasant atmosphere while holding any seminar on any subject in the comfortable Conference Hall for 30-40 people. There were entered into operation a pool, sauna, tennis court and disco-hall.

The restaurant of the Mountain Center is famous for its exclusive delicious dishes of European and National cuisine, and in the bar you can find rich choice of strong and soft drinks.

Dishes, which are prepared by the Chief of the restaurant, Alty, are in a great demand for gourmands. Many people come here only to taste his dishes, for example, «Marcao» — baked rabbit under sauce and poured on beer, or baked pikeperch under lemon juice. Alty himself loves to eat with all the necessary ceremonies, but nevertheless to cook the most appetizing and exotic dishes is not only his profession, where he is considered as one of the best in Ashkhabad, but also his hobby. Just this gives such wonderful effect — Ally’s cuisine is glorified by its variety and originality. And the most traditional phrase of those who have ever tasted the dishes in the restaurant of the Mountain Centre: «lt is very delicious!» The Chuli?s doors always are open for you.
